within 3 weeks, we were done with the first chapter of chemistry "Mole Concept", Basic Maths for Physics, Halfway in Trigonometry and about to complete first chapter of Physics "Kinematics". By then our institute started one more batch of similar strength as of ours and they were planning two more batch in next 3-4 weeks one in the morning and one in the evening for which admissions were going on. For every institute like ours, there's one saying "If someone fails its the candidates fault and if someone succeeds its the institute which helped him/her achieve that" and our institute used that every then and now. They will always talk about statistics like, "50+ selected, we have 2 city toppers etc." while they will never let you know hard facts like, "how many suffered due to their negligence and their ill treated experiments on students". Our receptionist or the one who deals with the admission was none other than Lalkishan's father. The way he lured the parents cannot be described in words. He was just amazing and probably was even more skilled than some MBA graduates from top Indian colleges. I never saw any parent return back without registering his/her ward for the course.

Now Professor Lalkishan had recovered from the sore throat. He finished discussing problem sheets of "Mole Concept" and announced that he will be teaching "Atomic Structure" next. Well this is where chemistry starts actually. Chemistry is all about studying history and try to explain that and for that we have lots of witty theories. In this chapter we study about what's inside an atom. Since atom is itself very small, you can imagine how small its constituent would be.

In the first two lectures of this chapter, professor would teach something and then after some time, he would tell that whatever you studied earlier is wrong and start elaborating some new theory only to later conclude that this theory was also wrong. In one of such theories, Atoms are believed to be like a watermelon. We were like, "whaatt! how can an atom be like a fruit". While we can see watermelon but we can't see atoms, so we had no option but to accept those facts as it is. According to an  another theory, all masses of atoms are concentrated at nucleus (small space in center) and some tiny(negligible mass) particle called "electron" revolves around it like a Solar System.

After professor finished elaborating 3-4 theories about atoms and later claiming that wrong, Arushi queried," Sir, is there any correct theory about the atoms". Actually, we all had same thing in our mind at that time. If she had not asked, then probably I would have asked the same. Professor gave a quirky smile and started the show again. He never used to entertain any silly questions like that. Later in one of the interesting theory, he explained that electron is spread like a cloud around the nucleus and that somewhere the density of those clouds are high and somewhere it is low. They way he used to elaborate it was even more interesting than the theory itself. He would try to make the clouds with his hands in the air, of course the imaginary one. You can imagine  clouds on a spherical surface and you will know how would it be to make clouds around a sphere with two hands. But whatever, we never had to revise that theory again due to that incident.

While leaving the lecture hall, professor announced a test on next Sunday.
