Printer- A Mysterious Love Story ( Part 7- Walking down the Streets )

While we were leaving the institute to roam around, I saw Mr. Lalkishan resting on a revolving chair under a high speed ceiling fan in the office. He had a white paste (probably lime) spread over his throat and he was not able to speak properly. Whatever, we were free now, so I and Bunny with few more friends went out with our backpack on our shoulders, discussing anything under the sun.

The area around our institute was full of coaching institute all claiming to be the best. The walls were full of posters and every 1 building out of 5 was a coaching institute. That's KOTA  of our city. There are around 50+ coaching institute there, all meant for JEE preparation. We walked just about 100 meters and found a poster which quoted " Mai Rickshawchalak Ko bhi Physics Sikha sakta hun (I can teach physics even to Rickshawpuller)-- Sintu's Physics". We gone mad reading this quote and probably you would react in the same way as we did. We were like "WOW!, ye huii na baat". We had seen many posters till then quoting " we are the best, Best in Physics, Best in Chemistry, Best Results Guaranteed, Safalta ki guarantee" and many more quotes like that but this was some GOD LEVEL shit.

Apart from this, there was one more coaching commercial which caught our attention. That was " 57 out of  70  selected for Jee Advanced ". One of us 'Sujeet' had a quick calculation in his head and yelled, " fuck its more that 80 percent". He was from Bihar Board and numbers were always in his head. Whether it's about splitting the bill of  restaurant or counting the hairs on your head or solving any complex mathematics problem, he would always do it within seconds.Though he was from Bihar Board but not the one of those kind you know from the Newspapers and Media. Yes, Bihar Boards have massive cheating sessions during the examination, chits flying here and there, students copying from their neighbors and invigilator don't give a fuck to all these but we also produce geniuses from the same system and he was obviously one of those geniuses. Obviously the commercial was lying, when the probability of getting selected for Jee Advanced was around 0.15 (15 out of 100 gets selected), its almost impossible to have 80% success rate for any institute. We would have believed the commercial if it were claiming 50% selection rate or even 60% was believable, but 80% was too high.

Well commercials are never meant to portray truth, it's just a means to attract public attention and both the above commercials were doing it certainly. The more catchy the Quote, more people will notice it at first glance. You can just pick up any commercial and I am sure that you will realize that sometimes quote is not even related to the business too. They are just meant to be catchy and stick to the public head at very first glance.
